Vallensbæk Student housing
We have been asked by Hofor - the Greater Copenhagen utility, responsible for water supply and wastewater disposal in Copenhagen metropolitan area - to come up with an idea on how to built on top of a SuD (sustainable draining system) in Vallensbæk, Copenhagen. We propose student housing built in CLT-timber formed as a "bridge" spanning over the open air rainwater bassin. The rainwater is used to water green houses on each floor run by the students and a public roof top garden.
